Outdoor Creative Play

Whitney found some play ideas

that I put into action this week. They are busy getting the patio painted, as well as the tables and chairs. It will be a big project and might take

all summer! They are painting with water, so the results are difficult to identify in a photograph!! We did some bubble play today, they never get tired of chasing after them, which is so fun to watch. I have some pasta play planned for the next couple of days. Claire has gotten adept at pouring water from the shovel into the bucket (that is across the patio from her) and I tell her "good job balancing, Claire". If I then tell her just "good job, Claire", she corrects me and says "balancing Omi". Today is a rainy one, so we played with dry pasta. They did great at moving it from one container to another, filling containers, emptying containers, and ok, eating it! I didn't forget about Max, I took some photos of him yesterday, and plan to post them with pics of his daddy in the same shirt, at perhaps the same age and in the same position.
