Claire's High Tech Educational Toy

Used an empty oatmeal box to teach Claire about in and out - fill and dump. She got the hang of it; and liked being able to dump everything out and hear the applause!

Little Brody has dry skin!

Brody has had dry skin issues, so we oiled him up and wrapped him in his ducky bathrobe! Boy, he really enjoyed having his mommy rub oil on him. They came to the farm for supper the other night and Brody was a little bored and took a siesta in the bouncy chair!

Cousins

Just so happens that we took pictures of the two cousins in the same "outfit", their swaddle blankets. Can YOU tell which one is which??

Our first trip to the Zoo with Claire

Grandpa Jeff and I took Claire to the Zoo for the first time, it was close to her 10 month birthday. We had such fun with her there. She enjoyed all the people and the little kids, she didn't notice the large animals as much as she did all the fish in the tanks. She was quite close to them and really watched them moving around. Lots of Zoo staff (and visitors as well) came up to us to talk to Claire. What a positive environment to visit with little ones!

Broden's 1st Day at Home

He fit into his newborn outfit jus' perfect, jus' like HE is! He's quite the GQ man, isn't he? He prefers his arms tucked up tightly to his body, but diaper changes make that tricky!

Claire's On to Solid Foods

She's making a big mess, but, oh, what fun!

Claire's Visit to the Hospital

Claire was not that interested with Brody, but she loved visiting Auntie Bethanie and Uncle Barry. She was a very good girl during our visit. She crawled around on the floor and all over the bed. B & B gave her treats, which made the visit much more fun. Auntie Bethanie's best friend, Audrey, was visiting as well, and she quickly made friends with Claire; held her, chased after her, gave her treats, and let her crawl all over her. It was a very successful first visit and I know the cousins will be best buds very soon!
